Why add coffee?
Roasted stout malt already carries coffee-like notes. The recipe sought greater depth through actual coffee, after considering several suppliers.
Three origins, one blend
The beans came from Azotea in Antigua, Guatemala; Huila in Colombia; and Brazil. The aim was an integrated blend with the stout base. The name plays on coffee and alcohol sharing a glass.
